District Increases Communication, Access and Flexibility for Emergency Plans and Event Safety Procedures with SchoolDude Crisis Manager

Previously using paper-based safety materials and flip charts to communicate emergency plans, CrisisManager ensures Three Village Central School District’s procedures are updated and accurate for its more than 7,000 students across nine K-12 school buildings. Detailed plans are provided on the mobile app for inclement weather, violent incidents, medical emergencies, evacuation procedures and other crisis situations.

For special events like prom and graduation, Three Village Central School District is using CrisisManager to help make safety procedures readily available.
“Providing special event plans via CrisisManager helps us quickly communicate where faculty should direct attendees to go during an emergency, what radio frequency to use with first responders, and more. Previously, we gave large paper packets of event guidelines to faculty and volunteers, which was not conducive to event environments,” added Blaum.
